Adva Mobile provides a software service that enables bands and recording artists to create closer relations with their audience on their mobile phones. The company provides mobile messaging, mobile presence (Mobile web pages and iPhone & Android Apps), mobile content fulfillment, mobile commerce, and a sharing service using existing social networks. Bands promote their mobile fan clubs at concert events by offering music and content to fans on their phones. Fans respond by texting to 88704 our shortcode. The response is a sms to the fan with a url that points to the bands mobile site, where fans can download music, watch videos, find show dates, tweet, buy merchandise and tickets, and other activities that engage the fan. We capture the fan's mobile number and other demographic information (location, age, etc.). Two to four times a month, the band can now send sms blasts, Mobile Emails, or Twitter updates to opted in fans. Adva makes money from commissions on mobile sales, advertising on mobile web pages, and a subscription fee for advanced mobile marketing services.
